Paul Christopher Reeves tries to rape 89 year old woman.

GASTONIA, N.C. -- A resident of an assisted living facility in Gastonia has been accused of trying to rape an 89-year-old woman who also lives in the facility.

Police have 54-year-old Paul Christopher Reeves in jail on $150,000 bond. He's charged with first-degree attempted rape. Both he and the alleged victim were patients at Rosewood Assisted Living on Marietta Street.

The victim has been released from the hospital after the incident.
A complaint has been made to the state Division of Health Services Regulation, which has visited the facility but not yet completed its report.

They were both residents of a assisted living facility. 54 is a wee bit young to be there so he was probably not "all there". Thank God that old lady seems to have what it takes!!!
