A SOUTH Grafton businesswoman was left with a broken nose, two black eyes, abdominal bruising and other injuries after a man allegedly attacked her with a golf club in an apparent fit of road rage yesterday morning.
It is alleged that after assaulting Kate Brighton, the attacker, who still had the golf club, then chased her 22-year-old daughter who was carrying a four-month-old baby on her hip.
The daughter came to her mother's aid when she heard a commotion.
According to Ms Brighton her daughter only escaped injury by locking herself inside a nearby business.
She alleged her assailant then turned his attention back on her, taking to her daughter's car smashing windows and denting panels with the golf stick.
Ms Brighton said she had no idea what had prompted the alleged confrontation.
A gun would have come in so handy.
