Woman charged after allegedly raping former co-worker with sharp object
(WHAS11) -- A woman is charged with raping, assaulting and robbing another woman.
The victim claims she was tied up, assaulted and raped with a sharp object after going to visit the suspect at her home.
The alleged attack described in the arrest warrant is so brutal we can't reveal all of the details.
On Friday, the suspect is in jail awaiting arraignment while the victim is counting herself lucky to be alive.
In a house on Camp Street a 22-year-old woman said she thought she was going to die Thursday night.
The victim went to the home to visit Wisdom Duncan, a woman she had worked with at a strip club in the past, when things went terribly wrong.
Duncan, who goes by the nickname "Sunshine", allegedly repeatedly punched and kicked the victim in her face.
http://www.whas11.com/news/local/Wom...107566408.htmlThe report indicates that Duncan ordered the victim at gunpoint to take off her clothes.
She then allegedly tied the victim to a chair, cut her breasts and raped her with a sharp object.
The victim then reported Duncan tied a rope around her neck and hung her from a hanger rod in a closet.
“She was just talking. Moving around saying she just tied her up and threw her in the closet and tortured her a little bit for breaking in her home,” said the witness.
“I think it's crazy,” he said..
After being left in the closet for an extended period of time, the victim said she was later ordered to lie naked in bed with Duncan and was tied to her.
The victim said she was finally able to escape when Duncan fell asleep.
Duncan, on her Facebook page, describes herself as a humble person, but says "just don't get on my bad side."
She has a two page criminal history, but drug charges were her most serious prior offenses.
We spoke to the victim's family members, who said she was sleeping and trying to recover from her serious injuries on Friday.
Duncan will be arraigned on six felony charges Saturday morning.
Bond set for woman accused of rape
http://www.fox41.com/Global/story.asp?S=13498024LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A woman accused of raping another woman faces a judge this morning. Wisdom Duncan faces several charges including rape, robbery, assault, unlawful imprisonment and terroristic threatening.
Investigators say she tied up and attacked another woman Thursday. A circuit court judge read portions of the police report during the arraignment.
"While the victim was still tied to a chair, the defendant pulled the victim into a closet. While inside the closet, the defendant took a rope like fabric, wrapped it around her neck and tied the other end to a hanger rod making it tight, actually strangling the victim causing her to gasp for air," said a judge.
Bond for Duncan was set at $100,000 and she was appointed the public defender. According to court records, Duncan and the victim were once co-workers.
