OCEAN CITY--- Robert Dilullo, 24, a former Ocean City High School substitute teacher, is out on bail, after being arrested yesterday, for allegedly having sex with a 16 year old O.C. High School student.
According to NJ State Police, Dilullo began a relationship with the female student in December 2006, while he was a substitute at Ocean City.
Investigators say that Dilullo had sexual 'encounters' with the girl, in the high school, on several occasions -- allegedly sending her text messages to meet him in empty classrooms.
Last August, State Police say that Dilullo got the victim drunk at his Upper Twp. house, and then had sexual intercourse with her, after she passed out.
Authorities also say that Dilullo provided alcohol to the girl for high school parties.
A counselor who learned of the incidents, earlier this month, reported them to DYFS, which reported them to the Cape May Co. Prosecutors Office.
Dilullo, who sources say is now a cook at an Ocean City restaurant, turned himself in to State Police, at the Woodbine Barracks yesterday. His attorney was present with him.
He was set free shortly after his arrest, after posting $100,000 full cash bail.
Dilullo has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and providing and placing a minor with alcohol.
According to school district officials, Dilullo has not been a substitute teacher at Ocean City, since last year.
