http://www.newson6.com/Global/story.asp?S=13411017According to police, the girlfriend of 43-year-old John Wayne King said the two came home at about 11 p.m. when King began to punch her in the face after he became intoxicated. The woman then said King threw her on the ground, chocked her with his hands until she lost consciousness, dragged her into a bedroom and raped her many times over a four hour time period. She said he also poured lighter fluid on her, threatened to set her on fire by holding a lighter to her face and threatened to kill her mother, her dog and burn the house down if she told police. She also said he made her take a bath at one point and told her it was because he didn't want there to be any DNA evidence for police to find.
She then said King pulled the phone out of the wall and tried to clean up the scene.
The woman was finally able to contact police when King went to work.
A Midwest City police officer said the woman and home showed obvious signs of assault and strangulation.
