    Introducing myself

    Hello Everyone.

    I have been reading the stories on this site for a while and decided that today would be a good day to register.

    I am a 23 year old single mom to a 2 year old boy and a 5 month old girl. I run my own home business making bows, headbands, diaper cakes and such. I grew up in Texas but currently reside in backwoods Kentucky.

    I enjoy being smart, being an ass and being a smartass. Gotta have something that gets you through the day, right?

    Not much else to tell but if you must know, feel free to ask :)

    It is diapers that are rolled and stacked into tiers to look like a cake. We personally cover ours with tissue paper as the "fondant" and then decorate it with different stuff (words, toys, clothes, anything the mothers heart so desires...)

    That diaper cake is super adorable! We make really good money - we are both stay at home moms and have enough to support the business and pay what needs to get paid. Have you ever heard of a diaper baby? We do those - they are rolled diapers in the shape of a baby with an outfit, hat, pacifier, socks and mittens to cover everything and look like a sleeping baby on its belly on top of a receiving blanket.

    This is a big one I did for my sisters sister-in-law. Took about 8 hours to complete. I just hate that when my sister decided to take pictures she couldnt straighten up the top tier and its looks crooked :/ There are more pictures on that pathetic excuse for my businesses website...Still working on doing it myself like I should have done from the very beginning but alas we all learn the hard way I suppose!
