Beverly McClendon Sues Tyra Banks After Daughter Appears On Show As Sex Addict

ATLANTA -- A Georgia woman is suing talk show host Tyra Banks after her daughter appeared on an episode of the Tyra Banks Show that showcased teen sex addicts.

In the suit, Beverly McClendon claimed that her 15-year-old daughter appeared on the 2009 episode without McClendon's permission.

McClendon said she didn't even know her daughter was appearing on the show. She said the show flew her daughter to New York City and provided lodging without her consent. When McClendon couldn't find her daughter, she filed a missing person's report.

McClendon said she was harmed because the show was watched by "sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles."

She is suing Banks and Warner Brothers Entertainment to block re-runs of the episode and for $3 million.

It reminds me of a story that happend back in my grandparents hometown in Texas while I lived with them my Senior year of highschool. Girl goes on Maury for being an unruly teen, while at Maury girl claims limo driver raped her, story makes national headlines, girl and Mom make bank, come back to small backwoods town and girl is so made fun of she moves away and is never heard from or seen again. Dont remember her name - all I remember is looking at her one day when she got on the school bus and saying "Why the hell would you come back to this podunk town and show your face after you got "raped" at a tv show that you went on for being white trash anyway?" Yeah that was cruel to say but it was the truth :/
