Sheriff Joe Arpaio's 10 Craziest Moments

I am not going to get into Arizona as a state, because i don't hang there, so I don't know if it sucks anymore than any other state. My man is from there and he hates it like all get out, but who knows. Maybe a place where you can't smoke weed at all and it is so hot the Devil would vacation there is a great place to live.

Anyway, pro Arizona or not, you have to admit that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is one crazy ass motherfucker. So please enjoy this list of all his most shameless, crazy, nutball acts. With video!!!!

WHile most of it is crazy Joe shit, I can't find much wrong with some of these changes - much less calling them "crazy":
    Jail Operation Changes

Inmates follow strict fashion and lifestyle guidelines: less food, no pornography, no television and no cigarettes. You know when your parents said "you're grounded forever"? When Sheriff Joe says it, he means it.

Arpaio began to serve inmates surplus food and limited meals to twice daily, at the cost of only 15 cents per meal. He also banned inmates from possessing "sexually explicit material" including Playboy magazine after female officers complained that inmates openly masturbated while viewing them, or harassed them by comparing their anatomy to the nude photos in the publications. The ban was challenged on First Amendment grounds but upheld by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Other prohibited items include cigarettes, and television (see above).

In February 2007, Arpaio instituted an in-house radio station he calls KJOE. Arpaio's radio station broadcasts classical music, opera, Frank Sinatra hits, patriotic music and educational programming. It operates from the basement of the county jail for five days a week, four hours each day. Other uses of this in-house radio station include bedtime story reading, a self-styled literacy program broadcast nightly to the inmates.
They are in jail, not at the health spa.

I'm not sure I call the volunteer chain gangs or tent city ideas "crazy" either.

I have a serious upper resp/sinus infection and am doped up to the max, so I'm a tad slower today. Is that guy for real? WTF at that woman giving birth in shackles? Unless she killed a child, that is just plain wrong.

I love Arizona! I have lived all over the country and it is by far my favorite state. I will admit it's a little crazy, maybe that is why I like it :) As far as Sheriff Joe. I think he is a bit crazy and maybe even psychotic but I like him ... He isn't always right, but some of the shit he does I applaud... Tent city, chain gangs.no TV,and no porn..It's jail..It should be hard. Maybe if more jails were like that people would think twice about going there. Some of the prisons and jails in this country are like resorts. I give him props for not making his one ...

I do also agree that some of the things he does goes a little far. The lady giving birth in shackles. I have to wonder what kind of threat she posed? I do know he feeds his inmates Ostrich Meat..YUCK!! I was arrested in Az for possession of marijuana. My experience was not bad. The cops were all cool and one even gave me a ride home after the booking haha..What I didn't like is waiting to see if you would be charged. It's not like any other state I ever lived in. They book you but don't charge you. Then they send it to the States Attorney. It can take up to a year to be officially charged.

I actually want to move back there. I guess what Joe does isn't really a big concern of mine since I don't plan on being arrested there ever again..
Say what you mean..Mean what you say or STFU!!
