    Report: Teen Punched After Complaining About Neighbor's Dog
    GREELEY, Colo. --

    Greeley police said they were called Wednesday evening to 10th Street because an aggressive dog was out and was threatening a woman and her granddaughter, according to the Greeley Tribune.

    They reported that when the women complained, the dog's owner punched the 15-year-old girl, breaking her nose.
    William Helus, 48, was arrested on child abuse charges, according to the Tribune.

    However, some neighbors told 7NEWS the grandmother and the teen instigated the confrontation. They said the girl wasn't punched, but broke her nose when she fell and struck her face on the ground.

    Helus has a long criminal history, including convictions for felony drug possession, resisting arrest, theft, and driving without a license, according to court records.
