3-Year-Old Caught With Pot In School

Deputies Find No Drugs At Family Home, Investigate Where Marijuana Came From
    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --
    [...]
The sheriff will not be releasing any specifics on the incident later Tuesday, but told WJXT that the 3-year-old showed the marijuana to a classmate inside a classroom. The sheriff's office said that classmate told their teacher about the marijuana and the 3-year-old was searched.

After finding less than 20 grams of marijuana on the child, school authorities contacted the child's mother, who denied knowing where the marijuana came from. A spokesman said she allowed the sheriff's office to search her home and no illegal drugs were found.

The sheriff's office said there is not enough evidence to charge anyone involved with this incident, but they are continuing investigate how the child got the marijuana.

You would think all they had to do was ask the 3 year old wear the pot came from and he would tell. When my daughter was 3 she would not have been sophisticated enough to lie about something like this. At 3 they still blame the 6 week old baby for breaking your stuff and the dog for peeing in their bed.

In our house it's the cats that pee in the beds. And, oddly enough, in the occasional pairs of panties I find wadded up and hidden throughout the house.

I have to disagree, though. I think a 3 year old is sophisticated enough to lie, just not to lie well. If you ask my daughter (currently 3) where something came from, you'd get either a totally straight answer or a long convoluted story about unicorns, fairies, magic toadstools, a castle and or/enchanted forest, at least one princess and, more than likely, Pocahontas.

    Thanks, Disney.

I totally agree that a 3 year old can lie but they are not sophisticated enough to be believable at all and most will tell the truth to strangers

Show any 3yo girl a Barbi Princess Doll and a boy 3yo a Thomas The Train(or whatevErs cool right now) and they would rat out mom,dad the pope ,whoever just to get that toy
