Police investigate toddler shot with BB gun

On September 19th, Grand Chute officers and Outagamie County Child Protection investigated a child abuse situation that occurred at 3001 W. Fourth Street.
The abuse allegation involved a 3-year old getting shot with a BB gun in the abdomen by his mother's live-in boyfriend.
Upon arrival, investigators discovered hundreds of BB holes in doors and walls and recovered a CO2 BB pistol and drugs from the apartment.
Twenty-six year old Nickolas Soppa was arrested on child abuse and recklessly endangering safety charges.
