Heavy-handed pimp hits woman, steals purse

A pompous pimp slapped and robbed a woman who refused to be his prostitute in the Mission district early Friday morning.

The 30-year-old woman had apparently hopped into the pimp’s car for a ride home, and when they reached 17th and Mission streets around 2:45 a.m. he told her to work the streets for him, police said.

When she refused, he slapped her on the face, pulled out a handgun and stole her purse. The woman ran from the vehicle and fled on foot, cops said
