Jennifer Gille takes her clothes off during cab ride then steals cab

COVINGTON, La. -- Covington police arrested a woman who they said took her clothes off during a cab ride, and then stole the cab.

It all started around 1 a.m. Sunday, when a cab driver picked up 29-year-old Jennifer Gille from a local motel, police said.

The driver told police that Gille asked to go to an address off Harrison Avenue, but when the cab arrived, Gille refused to get out.

"To further complicate matters the female began acting crazy and took off her clothing, demanding the cab driver take her to Michigan," police said in a statement.

The cab driver drove to the Covington Police Department, but when he got out to ask for help, a naked Gille jumped into the front seat of the cab and drove off, police said.

Officers found the cab in a parking lot a block away, and Gille was in the backseat, still undressed, police said.

Police said the officers had to remove Gille from the car and put her dress back on. Investigators said they believed she was under the influence of alcohol and possibly drugs.

Gille, who is from St. Clair Shores, Mich., was charged with unauthorized use of a movable and obscenity.

And I would say drugs and alcohol are definitely involved.
