Investigators with the Broward Sheriff's Office are investigating the discovery of a body in a West Park alley early Tuesday.
A pedestrian found the body and someone called police about 7 a.m. after the dead man was found in the alley near Southwest 44th Avenue and 28th Street.
Detectives are calling it a homicide, but have not revealed how the man was killed. The man, described only as being in his mid to late 40s, was found wearing no shirt and baggy pants.
Some neighbors who crowded around the crime scene said they believe the body belongs to a homeless man who made the alley his home.
