http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38919615A Treasure Coast couple was arrested on child abuse charges after Indian River County sheriff's deputies found them sleeping in a hot car while their baby was inside.
Deputies said Justina Sullivan and Nicolas Roberts were sleeping in their car at a campground parking lot Sunday while their 1-month-old child was in the back seat. Deputies said the car wasn't turned on and all the windows were rolled up except for the driver's side.
According to the arrest report, Sullivan was asleep in the driver's seat and had to be shaken awake. Deputies said she appeared to be under the influence and kept falling asleep as they were talking to her.
Sullivan told deputies they had been kicked out of their Fort Pierce home and were on their way to Palm City, but she wasn't sure what county she was in when asked, deputies said.

A deputy said he found the Impala with most of the windows up and the couple and child inside at the KOA campground on C.R. 512 near Interstate 95. Sullivan was passed out, the deputy said. The child, who appeared clammy, was hospitalized.
Inside the Impala, deputies found 75 oxycodone pills, which the couple said had been given to them by someone else, according to the affidavit.
