http://cbs4.com/local/pompano.beach....2.1861171.htmlThe Broward Sheriff's Office said the body of 59-year-old Dave Montney was found on the floor of his residence in the 24-hundred block of NE 10th Court by his landlord. Friends had contacted the landlord after they hadn't heard from Montney for several days. Montney's black 2002 Volkswagen Beetle was missing.
Neighbors told investigators the last time they recall seeing Montney alive was on Wednesday, August 11th. Montney, who worked at Holy Cross Hospital, attended Christ Church in Fort Lauderdale where he served in different ministries. He also spent time working with the homeless and less fortunate at House of Hope located near West Broward Boulevard and SW 9 Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
BSO said Montney's car was found abandoned in the 2400 block of Hammondville Road in Pompano Beach. They believe it was dumped there Thursday and would to speak with anyone who saw the driver.
Hmmm. I hope it's not someone he tried to help.
