Police: Erie woman sexually assaulted girlfriend
An Erie woman sexually assaulted her girlfriend and ended the attack only when the victim's young son woke up, Erie police allege in court records.
Lashonna L. Sanders, 26, of 817 E. 24th St. has been charged with aggravated indecent sexual assault, indecent assault and harassment. She was arraigned before Erie 4th Ward District Judge Tom Robie and jailed at the Erie County Prison on a $5,000 cash bond.
Police say Sanders assaulted her 20-year-old girlfriend in an apartment on West Seventh Street early Monday morning. The girlfriend was taken to Saint Vincent Health Center for treatment.
The victim's 2-year-old son woke during the incident, police said. The woman called police, and Sanders fled on a bicycle, according to court records.
