Tiffany Riley And Jermaine Pate Face Charges Of Torture On 1-Year-Old

An Andalusia mother and her Butler County boyfriend were arrested Friday and accused of breaking a 1-year-old girl’s arm in three places, dragging her up a flight of stairs and locking her in a bedroom so “they could eat lunch without hearing the crying.”

Sgt. Ray Dixon of the Andalusia Police Department said Tiffany Ann Riley, 20, and Jermaine Pate, 24, now face one count each of torture/willful abuse of a child, a Class B felony, following the incident at a local apartment complex.

Dixon said both Riley and Pate have a history of domestic violence.

“Mr. Pate was on probation for a domestic violence charge, and Ms. Riley allowed him to move into the apartment with her and (her daughter),” Dixon said. “According to witness statements, since Pate has moved into the apartment, both he and the child’s mother have verbally abused and given the child repeated spankings for crying.”

On Wed., July 14, the child fell and bruised her face on the tracks of a sliding glass door, Dixon said. When treatment was given at the hospital, it was noted that the child had an infection in both of her ears.

“On Thurs., July 15, her mother snatched the child up by her arm, breaking it in three places and dragged her up a flight of stairs to lock her in an upstairs bedroom so she and (Pate) could eat lunch,” Dixon said. “Over the following weekend, the couple would lock the baby in a downstairs half bathroom so they could not hear the crying from the upstairs bedroom.”

Dixon said on Monday – four days after her arm was broken – Riley took her daughter to a local physician, and she was later transported to Sacred Heart Hospital, where Florida officials discovered the abuse and placed the child in protective custody.

Sick fucking cunt! My youngest just turned 1 and my oldest is 6. For 6 years, I have not had a hot quiet meal. AND she looks extremely bothered in that photo. Someone ought to lock her in a basement bathroom for a few days..... few months..... years..... she could use a good diet program.

My husband and I have not sat down and had a meal alone without kids acting up one way or another in about 5 years now. It never has even crossed our minds to break their arms and drag them up some stairs and lock them alone in a room to cry in pain.

My 4 yo son broke his arm at school 2 months ago-cast is now off, he's fine. When I arrived at the school and he came over to me trying not to cry and holding his little arm, I cried (but didn't let him see me do it). It hurt him so much and his pain is my pain. WTF is wrong with people, how selfish can you be. How can you injure your child so horribly (and believe me, if that arm was busted in 3 places it was swollen badly, my son's elbow was was swollen) and leave them alone in agony locked in a bathroom. I hope this cunt never sees her kid again. She doesn't deserve her.

Maybe the kid was crying a lot because her ears hurt?? I have only had 2 ear infections in my life and they were both hideously painful. The doc wrote me vicodan for the one I had at 27.

They look like they just stepped off a movie set for some low budget horror film. They act as horrid as they look apparently. Ghouls. There is crying and there is c-r-y-i-n-g. Why do I think that no matter how this child cried she was ignored, except to be hit of course. I hope the little one gets better quickly and the two big ones fall into a pit to be broiled by the burning sun.

Babies cry that's what they do. I bet given a chance to know more on their fine parenting skills, we'd find baby girl was crying from pain, hunger, tired, dirty, sick and just needing attention.

I have some AWESOME attention I'd like to give these two.
1 yo. cannot imagine the complete confusion, hurt and feeling of helplessness that poor baby went through. I am very happy she made it out of this nightmare alive.

They were featured on the dreamin' demon about a year ago for torturing Riley's 1-year old daughter (whose name is Chloe btw) Well, I am not sure if she has full custody of that poor, poor broken child again, but she just gave birth to a new baby named ariel.

Apparently the 1-year old infant's crying was really bothering Riley and Pate, so the mother did what any other she-beast who deserves to be sterilized would do: She yanked her daughter by the arm up a flight of stairs, breaking it in three places, before locking her in another room on a different floor for four days. This child suffered for four days before Tiffany and her boyfriend took her to the doctor.

Tiffany Riley and her boyfriend were charged in 2010 for willful abuse and torture of a child. Now a year later, the two monsters are out of jail and are still together, making more babies that will undoubtedly suffer by their hands the same way the first child did.

A source from Alabama released their child's birth announcement two days ago. It states that these two child abusers gave birth to a healthy baby girl who was "greeted by her big sister," when she was taken home. Does this mean that the Alabama system gave the child back to these monsters after she was tortured? Or does this mean they have more children? This is terrifying! This Myspace profile confirms the identity of the convicted child torturer and her very public life.

A Covington County grand jury has indicted Tiffany Ann Riley on a charge of physically abusing her 1-year-old daughter so Riley's boyfriend could eat lunch without hearing the child cry, the Andalusia Star-News reports.

Riley, 21, of Andalusia is accused of breaking the child's arm in three places as she dragged her upstairs to lock her in a bedroom. The child was finally treated by a doctor 4 days after the July 2010 incident, according to the newspaper.
