A mother is accused of overdosing on heroin inside the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant in North Fairmount Thursday. And police say her
7-year-old was the one who discovered her.
"She crawled under the stall, and found her mommy passed out, turning blue," said Danny Smallwood. He's the father of the accused woman and the grandfather of the little girl. He said his daughter, Glenna Kiskaden, took the girl, Madison, to McDonald's to celebrate her birthday, but instead she ended up talking to police.

Police said Madison went in search of help. She found a police officer outside the restaurant who was attending who Kiskaden's friend, who police said had also overdosed.
Smallwood and his wife have custody of Madison.
"She wants to be with her mother but her mother will not keep her job long enough for her to have a place to live," Smallwood said.
However, Kiskaden was allowed to see her daughter and take her on outings.
"There was nothing we could do to stop her, because the court OK'd it," Smallwood said, "gave her permission against our will."
Smallwood said since Thursday's incident, the court has finally agreed with him.
"Glenna is not allowed to see the baby until she absolutely proves she's off of drugs," Smallwood said.
