Nadeau was in a checkout line in the Sam's Club store at 2800 N.W. 13th St. about 5:45 p.m. Friday but was too intoxicated to retrieve his membership card, police reported.
The manager came over to assist and Nadeau became aggressive, police said. The manager asked Nadeau to leave and started to call 911, prompting Nadeau to threaten him, police said.
A greeter escorted Nadeau outside but Nadeau charged back in, tried to punch the manager and then jumped on his back, according to GPD.
Nadeau then fled and Officer John Maloney saw Nadeau nearly crash into two cars, police said. Maloney said he pulled Nadeau over at 1300 N.W. 29th Road, but Nadeau accelerated and fled to the 1500 block before quickly stopping.
Maloney said he stopped behind Nadeau and confronted him. Nadeau put the car in reverse and hit Maloney's front bumper, police said. Nadeau then kept pushing Maloney's car backward, at which point Maloney was knocked backward to the ground from his front car door, incurring minor injuries, police said.
