Employees of the Subway/TCBY store along the 4200 block of Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township helped police catch a suspect in an armed robber and his getaway driver moments after they allegedly robbed the business at gunpoint on Wednesday, police said.
One suspect entered the store just after noon, armed with a handgun and demanded cash.
Employees complied and then watched as the subject enter an occupied vehicle parked at an adjacent business.
A description was broadcast to local officers and a short time later, a Susquehanna Twp. officer observed the vehicle at a traffic light, while the occupants were changing clothes near the intersection of Progress Avenue and Paxton Church Road, police said.
Naphtali Ishmel Dunmead Carter, 20, of the 5200 block of Winding Way in Lower Paxton Twp., and London Devoe Drayton, 20, of the first block of North 19th Street in Harrisburg, have been charged with robbery, conspiracy and firearms charges.
