I remember that I went to a bar after work one evening, and as I had to urinate rather badly, I hurried to the toilet. After I finished up, in my haste, I left my briefcase in the restroom. When I went back to retrieve it.....it had mysteriously vanished.
Yet know, my master, God omnipotent,
Is mustering in his clouds on our behalf
Armies of pestilence; and they shall strike
Your children yet unborn and unbegot,
That lift your vassal hands against my head
And threat the glory of my precious crown.

I want to test the room and make sure there's no other possible explanation for it, even though upon sight I truly believed at the time that there was none....to me, at the time, what occurred defied the laws of physics.

The scientist in me screams that no matter what I've experienced/seen/heard (and no, I haven't relayed all of it here), it's all a lost cause.

If I were to hypothesize that something supernatural is occurring around me (first of all I'd have to get far more specific than that, but I'll just leave it at that generalization for argument's sake), sure...I could use this board, along with the billions of other documented "experiences" that people across the globe have "had" as collected data. But that's as far as the method would progress. No experiment that I could ever concoct would be repeatable by others under the same conditions. Hell, I can't even get it to repeat for myself. That makes everything I would have done perfectly fallible, and the attempt completely futile.

Even if I got lucky and managed to video tape that pen flying 400 times, no one would ever really believe upon watching that tape that I didn't somehow rig that shit myself. Even if I had 20 witness in the room helping me pick the damned thing up and put it back on the table every time. Proving it to self...having enough "experience related evidence" to take the step from disbelief to belief, in other words....is one thing. Proving it to anyone other than self, or expanding that to proving it to the entire world is totally another.

Do I believe? Yes. But damn it even saying "Yes" is illogical to me.
lol Im the same way in the fact that no matter how active "my guy here is" I want him to do more
We thought for awhile a child had joined the mix
And researched the house to see if a child died here as well
Like I said before I can ask the granddaughter she works with SIL
And no small kids had died here but had been miscarriages
    We have a goofy ghost
I have never nbeen afraid if him but he has startled me a few times
1x I was walking from kitchen to go back upstairs to comp room and was about 3 am I was home alone and had all lights out
I came around the corner and threw my arms up like when your about to walk into someone
I walked right through him lol
The night Heaven went to live in OK I was crying changing kitty litter upstairs and it was midnight
All of a sudden behind me I hear" you both will be just fine"
I turned and no one there but it startled me
I have A shadow guy,I want to say 2 but have been told its one and anyone afraid of paranormal or ghosts or that would be terrified and at first even I was leery
I will go down the steps and at the bottom I see him and theres no face or any features at all
Basically looks like a cloudy outline of the Marlboro Man (cig guy) complete with cowboy hat lol standing at the bottom by the door but either way I have to walk right past him
But Im not afraid of that stuff

    For every murdered child

I'll give you guys one (though it feels weird, seems so personal)

My dad died when I was 10. He was AWESOME and happened to have red hair (important later)
He and my mom were divorced and when she told me even she was crying.
I asked her the next day if she thought he was in heaven. This was a private conversation, she and I on the deck of the farm where we were currently living.
She said "I dreamt last night he was sitting up a hill. That he was eating friend chicken (his favorite) and wearing a red sweater (my dad, having red hair would NEVER wear a red sweater) and all I could think was "the blood of the lamb".

Okay. So that was the conversation with mom at age 10. I never shared that. I mean, c'mon, how do you bring that up?
So I turn 18 and get into Wicca. (why don't you just hush)
Go to a friends house and she pulls out the Ouija board.
She says "We were driving home from your house the other day, what was the man wearing who was glaring at us as we drove by?
I'm all (cheating at the board) BLUE SHIRT (no) PURPLE (no) WHITE (no)
Then they had me be the one who writes it down
    "RED SWEATER"
    I Threw the thing down
"Never forget. Never forget the blood of the lamb" (they were the ones who spelled that out)

I ran out and hauled ass home.

I never told a soul about that conversation I had when I was 10.
I also will set someone on fire if they come near me with an ouija board.

I also posted this in waverly hills....

but here is another story I wanted to share.

    My moms experience:

Okay. Mom was a major party girl back in the day. My biological sperm donor of a dad was always coming home drunk and passing out. They were headed for divorce. Anyway.... one night she and some friends had a huge party. Us kids were all young and in bed. Well, my uncle and some of his drunkard buddies got the stupid idea to go in to my real dad's room and they put dirt all around his body and a headstone at the foot of his bed. BAD BAD Idea!!!

Okay... he was pissed the fun had been had. He woke up from his drunken stuper and thought he was dead for a moment. Well Fastforward into the winter of that year.

My mom and 3 of her friends were playing cards at the kitchen table. All of us kids were sleeping for the night. There had been a snow storm the night before and my mom and her friend were joking around talking about what had been done to my sperm donor the summer prior. Then my mom hears a knock at the door. It was late at night and she was like, "who the fuck would be coming here this late?" She went to the door and peered out the small window, but she couldn't see anyone. Then.. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. It was a louder knock. She looked at her friends and said, "I don't know who the hell it is!" So she went to a side window in hopes of getting a glimpse of the late night visitor. She still couldn't see. WEll, then the door handle knob started moving back and forth. At first it was slow, but then violently from left to right. She yelled out, "WHO IS IT?" But nobody answered. She again asked who it was, but still no answer. She put her hand on the door knob as she contemplated whether to open the door or not. The fucking door handle started going again...from left to right. She was like fuck this and called the police.

The police came and what they found was rather disturbing. There was nobody out there. Nobody at the back door and nobody by the front door. In fact, there were absolutely NO footprints in the snow. NONE. ZILCH. ZERO. So the knocking and the doornob moving???? Only thing we can guess is it was the person's who my uncle and drunkard friends had borrowed a headstone from. They did put it back within 24 hours, but my guess is they pissed off one hell of a spirit!

True story. We have shared this at sleep overs.... always freaked out my friends. They always expected some witty bullshit line of, "I GOTCHA" with laughter, but the fact was that it truly happened and it was no joke.

Holy shit girl, how do you not leave a trail in the snow?
At the most you will leave covering up a trail or something.

I thought you were going to say a spirit flushed the toilet. LOL, those hands free toilets can be a chuckle when you make up stories to little kids.

More stories about my mom's creepy ass house:

I had just had my daughter, my husband and I were trying to buy a bigger house and were staying with my mom until it closed. It had been storming and the power had went out. It was pitch black in the house. We were in the creepy room, the one where you have to shut the door or you feel like something will either come in or look in at you if you don't. Anyway, had the door closed and bolted, of course, I heard a knock on the wall, in my mom's house that is a very normal occurrence so I kind of just blew it off. Few minutes later, another knock further down the wall, like someone was walking down the stairs knocking on the wall. Another knock, further down, no one is tall enough to be able to knock on the wall from the stairwell to that point in the bedroom. Like I said, we are so used to hearing shit at my mom's house that if you aren't listening you won't hear it, to people who have lived there it is just the normal run of things, with the power out however you will hear everything.

After about 6 or 7 knocks on the wall, someone knocked on my door. I have to admit that made me sit upright in bed because that had never happened, knocks in the wall yeah, never heard it on the door and still haven't, because it was my sister. She asked me if I had heard the knocking on the walls, I was like yeah but you know....just go back to bed. She said the knocking on the walls had woken her up and now something really weird was going on in her room. I am 13 years older than she is, so she was probably 6 or 7 at the time. So, me I am not unlocking that door for anything with no power on, stayed in bed and my husband went and looked in her room. He said he could smell it before he even walked into the bedroom, fire. Her room was full of smoke, that and a bit of light which gave the smoke an eerie look. Lightning had hit in the attic and it had caught on fire. Called the fire department and they had it put out with only minimal damage done to the attic.

So what if the knocking hadn't woke her up? There was obvious knocking on her walls, enough to wake her up and knocking on my walls, something trying to get me to open my door? If I would of opened my door to see what was knocking on the walls we would of smelled the smoke immediately but I didn't because I was so used to it happening.

It's so weird when I think back at all the stuff that has really happened at my mom's house. When I think of one thing something else will pop into my head. Her house is just really strange, I can't think of a better word. You only have to be in there for less than an hr to experience something weird happening. She has the whole upstairs blocked off now because none of us live there, but I have driven by there and swear you can see people walking around up there, no one goes up there for anything but she calls me on almost a daily basis telling me the "ghost" has turned the lights on upstairs again and she had to shut them off.

I tried leaving an electronic microphone up there just to see what would happen when everyone was asleep, you know to see if there were noises no one else could hear? I accidentally locked the cat in there so all I got was the cat freaking , trying to get out and scratching at the door DUH! I will try again eventually when I get the nerve up to go up there again. I won't even go up there during the day alone anymore. I hate that fucking house, seriously I would rather sleep in my car than spend one single night in it ever again.
I love my mom because she loves me and she is a great mom she loves me so much she bought me a psp that stands for playstation portable.

From my son, Mother's Day 2012.

I looked at the phone and actually said the words "Oh, huh-uh!" and muted it. I sat there contemplating calling her back for a few minutes, because of that fucking dream. I knew she wouldn't call me that early unless there was something wrong, and I didn't want that something wrong to be what I had dreamed it would be. I called her back. She picked up the phone, and the first thing she said was "(cell phone static)-Ki died". I didn't have to ask her who she'd said. I already knew because of that fucking dream. Miki's ex husband had followed her after she left work the night before, rammed her car at an intersection, got out, and emptied a 9mm into her..

Crazy. Almost the same exact thing happened to me. About 10 years ago or so I had a dream about my grandmother (living at the time). The dream was bizarre and I do remember that I wasn't a part of the scenario in the dream, I was separate like a spectator or like I was watching a movie.

My Grandmother was sitting on a park bench with another woman that I did not recognize and they were having a conversation. My grandmother's skin was covered in unsightly lumps. They were all over her.

The other woman said to my Grandmother " Are you okay Ann?" and my Grandmother answered her " Everything is going to be fine, it's just a lump. They are going to remove it."

Nothing bizarre just a very unsettling dream. I was kind of disturbed by it and told my b/f at the time about it, stating that I had a bad dream about my Gram (who I ADORED and was very close too) and explained it to him word for word.

A few days later My Aunt called me. She said " Call your grandmother" and I said "Why" and she responded. She has to have surgery early next week, they found a lump in her breast" I respond with "Oh My God" and my Aunt says

" Everything is going to be fine, it's just a lump. They are going to remove it"

I kid you not. She repeated word for word what my lumpy dream Grandmother said to that other woman on that park bench. Word for word. I was so taken aback...it was all just way too specific.

I told my boyfriend what my Aunt said on the phone and he responded with "You're a witch" He was totally freaked out.

What the hell does that mean? I also find it interesting that the other lady in the dream used my Grandmother's first name. I just think its weird and I often wonder if it was her baby sister that died at the age of 16 from an illegal abortion (in the 30s) Her name was Babe and my Grandmother carried her picture and always pined for her.

What the hell does that mean?
I don't know about you, but if I'm a witch I must be the most reluctant witch on the planet.

I haven't had a dream like that one in all the years since, and I've had people very close to me die during that period as well.

Me neither. That whole situation was intense. My Grandmother : ( died of dementia about 2 years ago. I miss her like crazy, but I haven't had ONE dream about her, not one, and I want too.

She and I had a conversation once before she got sick and she was talking about dying one day....and I straight up asked her to stay around me or to at least let me know that she was okay after she died. She said that she would. 3 years later, not one dream, nothing.

I did do something weird recently. My boyfriend and a bunch of friends of mine were at a Labor Day party in Brooklyn and were introduced to this girl. She was really nice and mentioned that she owned a new bar in the neighborhood and that we should stop in.

Blah blah blah whatever. I forgot all about her and her bar for months and months and months. We finally stopped in one night when we had friends in town and had some drinks.

At one point she came out from behind the bar to say Hello to us and I said "Hi Fatima, nice to see you again." and she just fucking blanched and stared at me with her mouth hanging open. I became uncomfortable and said "I'm so sorry, did I call you by the wrong name or something?" It was so strange because her reaction was so strong that I thought I had really offended her. She said " No. you didn't get my name wrong. How did you know my name was "Fatima?" And I was like "we were introduced at the Labor Day party last year"

She said " You don't understand, I go by Michele and have FOREVER. Absolutely no one in New York knows my real name. No one To prove her point, she kept asking people (that were close to her ) in her bar what her name was and they all responded with "Michelle." She was visibly upset and actually left the bar. But not before she came over and said to my b/f and I......" I don't know what or how the hell you did that or knew that, but I am really freaked out right now.

She almost gave me the impression that she was afraid, like she had changed her name for a reason, to hide or something. It was so fucking weird.

I still swear on my life that I was introduced to her as "Fatima" Don't really know how or why I would pull that name out of my ass.

I don't claim to be psychic and I cannot do things like that on command or even often. But i clearly scared the shit out of her, she was so freaked out she left her own bar.

    Bizarre isn't it?

When I was a little kid, my mother once or twice a year would decide it was time to visit her friend Leona. I loved going to visit--they actually had CHICKENS! on their property--and I hated it, because I knew that my mother and Leona were going to get drunk and, sometimes after it got dark, start talking about the unexplainable shit that happened to them, like having a conversation about my mother's first (long dead) husband and having a couch cushion move across the room.

My mother and stepfather were killed in a car crash when I was 11; I had been living with my older sister and her husband for a couple of years. Over 3 decades later, and I still wonder, "Why did my mother have to be drunk EVERY night that I knew her?"

Bring on the ghosts. It's the living who scare the shit out of me.

Speaking of 'Calling all angels' I can more than one up Train, I can give you a video from one of my fave shows that went away (Roswell)

OK So I FINALLY listened to the tape with headphones (I posted about the tape earlier)-I sat in a quiet room, put the headphones on, turned up the volume and pressed play. With the headphones I can hear it even clearer. The first voice is a woman's voice that says (and sounds right in the mic) "You will" and then a second voice-a males voice seems to complete her "thought" he says very clearly "are going to die young". I wsa sitting right there when the recording was made-all I could hear at the time was my hubby's snoring-certainly no other voices. And it is right at the begining of the tape-maybe 30 seconds into it. I have yet to listen to the rest of the tape because quiet frankly the whole thing FREAKED me out. So I had my husband listen to it with the headphones as well-totally freaked him out even more this time as with the headphones it is soo clear and just right in your damn ear. My husband is a HUGE skeptic of ANYTHING. He believes you die, go to heaven or hell and that is ust it nothing more-no ghosts etc. but that tape has him shaken and has shaken his beliefs up a little bit. So much so that after listening to it with the headphones he is taking Alf's advice and will now FINALLY see a doctor about his sleeping and the possibility of sleep apnea. I wish that there was a way that I could post this tape on here?? I know if no way since it's on one of those small tapes??? Anyway anyone I have played the tape for gets %100 CREEPED out and can clearly hear the voices and what they are saying. I am a healthy skeptic myself but I do believe that there are ust things that is ust plain fucking "weird" and at least at the time "unexplainable" and for now my creepy tape falls into that catagory..

LOL Everyone keeps telling me to listen to the rest of the tape and I am sure I will eventually-I am just almost "scared" (for lack of a better word) too right now!! BUT now that you have pointed out the possibility that there may be some winning numbers on there I may be listening to the damn thing sooner rather than later!!! lolol

I know the feeling. Before my SO passed, as i held his hand I begged him -- if there was a way, even an ever so slight way of contacting me to please do it. So far, only empty dreams, wishes unfullfilled.

Nothing, even with the nights that I "will" my mind to dream about him before I drift off to sleep....I wake up with nothing--or at least nothing remembered.

If only I could have one more day...one more conversation, one more I love you. (Even if only dreamed)

I get so sad when I try to see him in my mind's eye -- he's not as clear as he used to be and I fear him fading from my mind's eye, or the memory of his amazing laughter.

My best friend in the world died last 2yrs ago and we had made a pact to make sure we knew each other was o.k when 1 of us passed
After almost 2 months I was upset having one of my breakdowns and said to hubby and mom that I hadn't had any signs and I wasn't sure I believed anything anymore and just stupid emotions taking over
That night I had a dream and even today plain as day
I was in my kitchen on the phone with my mom and saw my friend walking up the backyard sidewalk and I said to my mom"I have to go Esther's here" and I was all excited and my mom said"tell her its about time"
So I was all excited and hung up and we sat and talked and she was telling me all about her grandson Ryan that had died in an accident 1.5 yrs before she died and just how she wasn't in pain anymore and all sorts of stuff and I remember it all so clearly

    We are not "meek" or "mild";
Don't turn your back when twilight dims the sky -
We'll haunt the perpetrators till they Die

Well I assumed she meant her baby dolls and so I told her they were in the pet net and I would get them down in a minute. Anyway, she says not my dolls, my kids. So I kind of looked at her weird like and asked her what she was talking about. She was in such a rush to tell me all of this it was so bizarre.

She said, don't you remember when I lived at such and such address in the big blue house and it caught on fire? I was like no. She then got a little frustrated with me and said yes you have to remember, we had that old Ford that wouldn't crank right (or something to that effect, about a crank) so I am just listening to her kind of getting freaked out and she is going into more and more detail. She said remember, my name was different and I had a husband and two children? Remember my big blue house it had a cracked step? What happened to my kids, did my husband get them out of the house in time? I tried to get out but the window was stuck. By then I am totally creeped out and thinking what the hell has this kid been watching on tv.

I didn't have the internet yet so I wrote everything down and went to the library and looked through old newspaper articles. I will shit you not, I found an article from 1912 where a family had perished in a fire, same city, same address, EVERY name was the same. THAT scared the shit out of me. What even scared me more was when I asked her about it, this is within a week of her saying all this, she said she doesn't know what I am talking about. To this day if you ever ask her about it she has absolutely no recollection of any of the conversation we had, I know we had talked about it for at least 45 min to an hr and she looked at me like I was nuts when I mentioned it.

I have no idea what that whole experience was but it still gives me chills thinking about how adamant she was that her house had burned down when she had a different name, a husband and 2 kids at 5 years old and I found all the proof about it before she was old enough and before we had the internet so she could of never have looked a story like that up.
I absolutely LOVED this story. They say the younger you are the better retention you have of previous lives.

Bring on the ghosts. It's the living who scare the shit out of me.
    This....I understand.
Yet know, my master, God omnipotent,
Is mustering in his clouds on our behalf
Armies of pestilence; and they shall strike
Your children yet unborn and unbegot,
That lift your vassal hands against my head
And threat the glory of my precious crown.
