Dustin Waddell - A baby throwing penis!

GASTONIA - Gastonia Police charged a 25-year-old man with felony child abuse after they say he threw a 10-month-old baby against a wall, according to arrest warrants.

Police say Dustin Scott Waddell of the 800 block of Radio Street struck the baby in the face and threw the baby against a wall, which led to the baby suffering a fractured skull and bruising, according to arrest warrants.

Waddell was the mother's boyfriend and was baby-sitting the infant at the time of the incident, according to warrants.

The child was listed in good condition Friday at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

The incident occurred on April 25 and Waddell was arrested Wednesday.

Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation assisted in the case, according to court documents.

Police charged Waddell with felony child abuse-resulting in serious injury and assault on a child under 12, according to arrest warrants.

Waddell remains in Gaston County Jail on $500,000 bond.

A Gastonia couple has been charged with child abuse after a 10-month-old child ended up at Gaston Memorial Hospital, suffering from a skull fracture and bruises to her face.

Police suspect Dustin Waddell, 25, became angry while taking care of the child on April 25. He is accused of hitting the child and throwing her against a wall and has been charged with felony child abuse and assault on a child under the age of 12.

Police also charged the child's mother, Jennifer Cherry, 24. She has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse for allowing the abuse take place.

WCNC has reported that the baby, released from the hospital Saturday night, is expected to be O.K.

Okay... if he was babysitting his GF's kid... where was mommy? If mommy was there, why was he babysitting? I'm confused on this one.

I can't understand why this jackass would think it was okay to do this to a poor little girl. Damn.. mine is now 8 1/2 months old and all I see when I look at her is a pure miracle and love... I just don't fucking get it.

One report syas the douche was babysitting and the other says "taking care of".
Maybe the mom was home, just not in the room?
He also hit the baby in the face?!?!
What an asshole.
He needs to stand in front of a microwave for a while, with the door open. He never needs to be allowed to have a child.

I know, people are evil when it come to abusing the children. My son is loving, funny, and sweet. I have no desire to harm him.

Amen with that. I look at my little one and I am just in complete and utter awe. From the funny way her hair lays to how her little toe nails will curl up a little at the tips. How she looks like a newborn when she sleeps (I call it the 'fetus look'). How big and curious her eyes are, and how trusting and completely adjusted she is to knowing that she is loved and we will respond asap to her needs. Every sigh, squeak, and noise... Even the new trick she's learned .... my 8 1/2 month old picks her nose....

Yesterday, my son said he found snack he like. I asked what snack, he said boogers! LOL.

I am thankful I have my son. He is the reason I become a better person. Not only that I become better person, I learned how to love without condition.
Sadly, people who murdered or abused children, will never have the bond with children like us with our children. They abuse children because not only they hate them, they care about themselves and their needs. They put themselves first instead children.

Once, when my daughter was like 1 I spanked her for dumping a GIANT bottle of bubble bath all over the toilet. She was only wearing a diaper so she got this big red mark on her leg! I felt so bad I actually called CSD on myself. I sat there and cried to this woman for like an hour! And she was so incredibly sweet about it. Just told me I was young and obviously loved my kid.

So if I ever get the urge to really hurt one my kids I will definately let one of you guys know.

Not many people call CSD on themselves. You did the right thing, you needed help and she was there. Good she wasn't mean bitch! I had PPD after my son. I was so afraid that I might do something to him. I left the baby with my husband and left the house until I came to my senses. Thank god, he was very understanding husband.

I had PPD after my 3rd baby. All that child did was cry. I had just read the story of the woman who microwaved her baby and I actually took my microwave to my moms. I could hear it calling to me. My ex husband had to take 2 weeks off of work.

Now I have shared waaay to much!
