Antwuan Little releases pit bull, gets shot a month later.

Not even sure how to title this thread.
My friend who still lives in Cincy texted me about some puppies. Sent a pic of them. How cute, but the fucker who has them put them in this tiny caged area with no lid. They were in the shade but had no water.
Today I texted her about the pups, asking if they were still in the caged thing and did they have water. She said the pups were running loose, had water, but ar so infested with fleas, ticks and gnats she's still considering calling SPCA.
THEN she texts backl to say the "owner" has only adopted them till the owners get out of the hospital. Look up Sheila Bake. I hunted and hunted, no Sheila Bake.
But she reminded me of the story she showed me about the man who released his pitbull on an officer. (that story long sinced removed from www.cincinnati.com. damn shame because the woman was so freaking hilarious.)
Officer shot dog, but dog survived.

Now, a month later, Antwuan "Cory" Little have been shot what looks to be a home invasion. Riiight. Doing a little more digging nets me the name Heidi Blake, not Sheila Bake. (close enough)

[/Two people were shot and rushed to the hospital after an early morning home invasion robbery in Colerain Township.

Colerain Township police and detectives from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office continue to piece together the circumstances that lead up to Friday morning's double shooting in the 2500 block of Wenning Road.

Police say that around 2:30 a.m., three black male suspects forced their way into the residence, confronted the two residents of the home and shot them.

The victims of the incident are identified as Antwuan Little and Heidi Blake. Both were taken to University Hospital. Little is listed in good condition and Blake is listed in critical condition.

Officers say they were at the same house last month when a Colerain Township officer was forced to shoot a dog. The people who lived at the residence reportedly had a number of dogs.

The Cincinnati SPCA was called to the house to remove an adult dog and as many as four puppies.

Police say a vehicle that left the neighborhood shortly after the time of the shooting may be connected to the crime, but police have not released a description of that vehicle.

The house on Wenning Road is less than a mile away from a home on Windsong Drive where a similar home invasion robbery left two men dead and two women injured over the weekend.

There's no word on whether Friday morning's robbery and shooting may be related to the deadly Windsong Drive incident.
    The shooting remains under investigation.

Not 4 puppies. 6. Unless the dog had 10 puppies and they did remove 4, who knows.

The Windsong story, I am going to put in yet another thread.

Edit: Video of when Pit was shot. http://www.wlwt.com/video/23479473/index.html and that one says her name is Heidi Bake. So... what's her name?

I have serious contempt for certain pitbull owners. Not the breed, not the dog.
The owners who exploit the dogs.
When I was in Nashville a guy lived next door to me and decided to breed pits for fighting in his one bedroom apt. 6 of them. One day one of them jumped my fence and ripped open my shih-tzu.
He survived (barely, tons of stitches) sweetest dog you would ever meet, to hear him cry tore my heart in a thousand bits.

If I had a gun at the time I wouldn't have shot the dog. I would have shot the owner.
I would have wounded the dog, though, I was so pissed. MY YARD. C'mon

And you know what? I would not have been sorry.

I also do not have issues with breeds. I have known many a pitbull. Sweeties, all of them.
One little girl told me they didn't tell Molly that she was a pitbull. Cracked me up.
