GREENVILLE, S.C. --
Greenville Police have arrested a 22 year old man and charged him with child abuse. Police say they responded to the mother's home Thursday after the mother received a text message while at work from the accused.
Police say the Jarius Jenkins sent the toddler's mother a text message saying he pulled the victim off the ground too hard. Jenkins was taking care of the toddler while her mother was at work. The toddler was taken to the hospital wher a doctor says it was confirmed that her right shoulder was dislocated and her right arm was fractured. Police say the victim also had abrasions to the inside of her lips and gums.
