Man Jumps Through Magistrate's Window
Wentworth, NC -- A man has cuts on his head and arms after he jumped through a window while in custody.
Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says Julian Edward Carter, 34, jumped through the window at the magistrate's office in Rockingham County. He was in handcuffs and leg irons.
Carter was found on the ground after jumping head first through the window.
Carter was in custody for domestic assault on a female. He was further charged with Injury to Real Property for the estimated $300 in damage to the window.
He was taken to the hospital for his injuries and later transported to the jail.
