LEXINGTON, N.C. - The Davidson County Sheriff's Office have charged a man they say has allegedly physically abused a woman and a 7-year-old child.

Michael Ray Royall, Jr., 29, of Lexington, was charged with one count each of assault on a female, intimidating witness/victim (felony), assault by pointing a gun and assault inflicting serious bodily injury (felony), and two counts of misdemeanor child abuse against a 7-year-old child.
