Charles Gleim discovers beating kid will not make her want to visit

A 48-year-old Norton resident was charged with allegedly beating his daughter after the girl arrived at school with several injuries.

Officials said the girl suffered two black eyes, bruises on her arms and legs and scratches on her neck when she arrived at the LaLiberte Elementary School Thursday.

An investigation alleges that Charles Gleim, who is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 215 pounds, choked his daughter, punched her in the jaw then grabbed her in the face and “put his body weight on top of her.”

Officials said the incident occurred as Gleim tried to get his daughter to go with him for a visitation.

Good question! How come SHE wasn't the one to call the cops? The only explanation I can think of is that the beating occurred after he picked her up and he's the one that sent her to school the next morning. Other than that scenario, mom would have some major explaining to do.
