Man Wearing High Heels, Giving Children Candy Arrested for Disorderly Conduct
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police arrested a man wearing high heels and carrying a purse in a park on complaints of disorderly conduct.
According to police, 44-year-old Allen Galbreath was found near Goodholm Park, 2701 N. Robinson, after they were called by concerned citizens near the park. Galbreath was found wearing high heels and carrying a large wood stick. An officer approached Galbreath and asked what he was doing in the park and he said he was doing his morning exercises and giving candy to the kids when they answered his questions correctly.

Police said Galbreath had a red purse with a black Crossman air pistol inside of it. When asked why he was carrying an air pistol, Galbreath said he was a homosexual, cross-dressing black, male in his 40s and needed it for his own protection.

I really don't understand why this guy was arrested? Is it against the law to be a cross dresser? I have seen some beautiful cross dressers (not this guy) but at some shows my sister and I went to with some gay friends. Second is it illegal to give kids candy? Unless this guy/gal was doing something inappropriate I just don't get it?

I can understand carrrying a pistol for his protection.

I also agree unless he was really just weird, what did he do wrong, and really he ain't gonna be chasing kids in high heels, hell, I can barely walk in them and I'm a girl.

And really, tho, just being weird doesn't make you arrestable, cause if it does, I gotta neighbor that qualifies on that score.

he was probably being intrusive and upsetting people enough to warrant the disorderly conduct charge. maybe he got a little mouthy with the cops. they'll probably drop the charge.
