    Teacher accused of soliciting sex with underage girl

    A Four Corners-area middle school teacher was arrested Tuesday, accused of trying to solicit sex from an underage girl who turned out to be an El Paso police officer.

    Terry Jimenez, 61, is a sixth-grade teacher at Zuni Middle School south of Gallup.

    Authorities say Jimenez went online and arranged several meetings with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl. When Jimenez showed up at the El Paso location, police took him into custody.

    Let the lynchings begin. Male teacher with a female minor...too bad he wasn't a female with a male minor. Some here might actually defend and encourage such behavior.

    As it is, I wonder how many "hook-ups" he has gotten away with up until now? Scary to think he is 61 and just now got caught. I bet this has been going on for a while now.
