A 20-year-old Toledo woman accused of injuring an 8-month-old girl she was babysitting was arraigned Tuesday morning.

Crystal Barnett is accused of throwing the infant into a night stand. She faces two counts of child endangering for the Apr. 13 incident that police say caused a fractured skill and brain injury to the child.

Barnett is being held in the Lucas County Jail on $250,000 bond. She initially told police that her 2-year-old son threw the baby against the night stand. Her son is now in the care of relatives.

A pre-trial has been set for Tuesday, May 20 while the case is scheduled to go to trial Tuesday, June 3.
