I couldn't agree more! I had a discussion with a guy on FB about this. He thinks that Vick served his time and has paid his debt to society. I say he's still and always will be a thug who murders innocent animals for personal gain. He should NEVER play football again unless it's on a prison team.

Whenever my husband was called for jury duty he wore a black t-shirt, black cargo pants and cowboy boots, his occupation at the time was gun dealer with a federal firearms license, all true. And just saying they wouldn't have wanted him on a jury anyway, he would have said Fry the bitch, too, whatever they had done!

I don't get why it's even issue. Sounds like typical practice to me. Yeah, you got that right! It truly sux to be the Defense on this case--all those wits possibly down the tubes because they uh uh ummm forgot to follow FL statutes and ignored court orders to comply. Oh well, c'est la vie.

I think the big deal right now is that to be sanctioned is a rather embarrassing event for most lawyers. The FL Bar Newsletter published the info, the media got hold of it, one's lawyer pals talk about it and you (laughing over triple scotches at the club perhaps), and then--aaiiiieeee--the blogosphere went incandescent. lol

Chutney Mupton is the one who is taking this to a super nova level by asking State to back off and filing a motion with Judge P to reconsider/vacate.

It's only a couple of weeks away unless there is some emergency motion by the Defense.... who knows what they are capable of?? Nothing productive it seems. The Defense is depoing the TES witnesses who may not say the things the Defense wants to hear under oath. Time will tell... I think you can walk by a bag or something and not see it or be a food away and not see it through folliage growth. This is not going to be a fair horserace because from what I have seen Casey is guilty. If I had an innocent client I would have been planting definitive facts that my client was innocent and firing back at the Prosecution. I guess they had nothing to fire back with and a case like this should have been plead a long time ago.

I believe the Prosecution would have been receptive because of the savings to the taxpayers of Florida. Heck just the jury alone is 350k. I still want to know what JOse spent the 285K on. I believe he is a total waste. So is the investigations of Jermiah Lyons. You can't prove what didn't happen unless perhaps you tamper or buy some results. This is going to be interesting. I am sure every day Jose will have a smackdown in court. I wouldn't want to be on this defense team.
