Don't get me wrong, I don't think georgie boy is innocent in this, but i think he was led to this point by CinTroll (I just want to spin her and see if it'll stick out like one of those troll dolls - the texture is too damn close to a match) over the course of a number of years. If I were charging the both of them in a murder case (not this one), it would be murder 1, death penalty, for CinTroll and manslaughter with max possible sentence for georgie boy. not innocent, just... not quite as premeditatedly horrible. I don't think he ever ACTED, i think he just spends all his time REacting.

Okay, I have to preface this with saying that at this point, as they are NOW, I fucking hate George Marie, Lee Marie and Cindy Marie. I am in no way sticking up for them. I just wonder at what point he (George) mentally and consciously accepted that he was going to forget about Caylee and protect Casey. He always was the one that I believed was tortured by what happened. At what point did his moral compass (forgoing the jobs and philandering--I believe that people can have affairs and not work and still find it morally wrong to commit murder) say that it was better to stand up for Casey?

My personal view of George's heated depo. is that he had a LOT of pent up rage at his situation. I think he projected that rage onto the lawyers who were questioning him. He justified the anger in his own head by believing that they were just filing a frivolous lawsuit and putting him and Cindy through unnecessary pain. Really, what he wanted to do was rage at Casey and Cindy and Lee. But, he couldn't do that. Maybe he believes that if Casey goes to jail, Cindy will hurt herself or mentally snap. I think Cindy is really the controlling one. George is a pushover--we've seen these types of men who just let the woman run all over them and belittle them--and basically does whatever Cindy tells him to. They check their balls at the door. He's been like that from the beginning of their marriage. I'm sure Cindy loves to rub his past mistakes in his face. Can't you picture her hitting below the belt during a fight? "Oh, GeorgeMarie, you question whether or not Casey's working when YOU can't even keep a simple job working with your own father?!" "Let me handle this. Casey's my best friend. She wouldn't lie to ME."

I dunno. I just...Still have a hard time grasping how low they have allowed themselves to go. I suppose when you live in the dark, you get used to it. Caylee was the only light they all had and maybe once she was gone, they decided to stay in the dark forever.

I think it was a total combination of his personality traits, his hot temper, his caught between a rock and hard place and life circumstances that put them and in particular George where he is. I think evolution was gradual. I think George didn't want to rock the apple cart because if you look at it he had a pretty good life even if he didn't work much. He had time for girlfriends, internet, gambling etc. Perhaps he had more interaction with his own children as little kids than Cindy did and he was their "Nanny" and baby sitter since Cindy was always working. I think both parties are guilty of being co-dependant on each other.

George was a loser in Ohio. George was a loser in Florida. But, I think there is a kinder more human side to George than there is to Cindy but don't forget his interaction with Morgan and Morgan over his moving the glasses up his nose and accusing the attorney of giving him the Finger...... George is more complex and cunning and fits just like a puzzle piece in the whole pie. George is not the innocent underdog you think he is... He lets you think what is convenient. This couple has worked it, worked it baby for a good 25 years if not longer however long they have been married. Life's circumstances brought them together and Toto'd them down the Yellow Brick Road.

My point is that he did lose his grand daughter and I believe he loved her. Maybe it isn't a popular opinion, but I think having your grand daughter murdered and your daughter being a murderer and Cindy for a wife... it could cause a lot of pent up anger and frustration, as well as, hurt and pain. The fact that he had girlfriends or gambling issues is not a problem with me. I am not saying it is right, but it doesn't really cause me to think he is either guilty or innocent. I know plenty of good people that get caught up in affairs, and definitely many people who have goten themselves into gambling addiction.

My point is more that I think he has had a huge loss and is definitely hurting over that. Whether he is complicit in the "cover-up" is another issue. ANd what is more, if he was complicit in any 'wrong doings' I definitely think it was due to his conrolling bitch, Cindy.

I think they all have a lot of "crazy, nut-so-ess" going on... lol

I am back from what was intended to be only a week's mini-vacation. heh. I got lost in the vintage ashtray section of eBay and my family had to send out a search/recover party

Looks like things are really hopping here.

We're going to be in for a real treat in early March--three days of hearings! I think KC is required to attend at least two of them? I am looking forward, as usual, to what Baez has to say as well as seeing KC in her raggedy, wrinkled clothes and slime-monster hairdo.

Speaking of Baez (gah!), does anyone know whether he is on vacation this week? I thought there was some question whether he would be allowed to go since he had missed two more deadlines and then requested a filing extension (or two).

This has to be the most convoluted trial there is. I read the last 3 blogs listed. JBMission is a horrible blog in my opinion.... has to be a defense sympathizer. Read Bullstopper, Andrea Dreaming. My conclusion from all thuis is that the Defense has nothing to counter act the Prosecutions' evidence. I can just imagine Jose's defense after the Prosecution's presentation of... Your honor.. I have nothing to add on behalf of my client but she's NOT GUILTY and the Prosecution has not proved beyond a reasonable doubt the guilt of Ms. Anthony and the Defense rests!

I think the reason Jose has not filed proper testimony from his "experts" is they don't disagree with the Prosecution. They have left in droves because they are not going to lie for this defendant and further damage their reputations. Lee sure is not going to lie pro bono when he said he was being paid. Lee also said that if he agrees with the Prosecution, he won't be here. Well Lee's not here... so he must agree with the Prosecution!

There are so many things to speculate in this case. So many what if's.
I do believe there was a connection of the duct tape found on Caylee to the duct tape of the poster and the Anthony's so JB Mission's mission may be to mislead on the mission.

I hope the beginning of March hearings give us a good explanation why in a death penalty case the Defense can ignore dates, florida criminal rules of procedure and blatently ignore a judge's order and direction. Why are there not more sanctions?

I wish Judge Perry would say Jose you are not DP qualified yet you are the one presenting. What role does Mason really play on this or is his name on this case just for Jose to make a fool out of both of them? Somehow something is missing on this case... big time......

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A prosecutor says Casey Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez has missed another deadline and suggests he should be held in contempt of court.

In a new motion filed Monday, prosecutor Jeff Ashton said that Baez missed a Feb. 17 deadline to submit documentation.

Frye hearings have been scheduled for March 23-25. The hearings will deal with what scientific evidence will be allowed at the trial.

In a written order, Perry said that the "defense counsel shall submit in writing the specific issues that will be objected to." The deadline for such submission was Feb. 17 at 4 p.m.

Ashton wrote that after receiving nothing as of that time, he spoke with Baez on Feb. 18.

He said Baez expressed "some confusion" as to the order and then followed up with an email to the court's judicial assistant claiming he didn't understand what was required of him.

"We are a bit confused," Baez wrote in the email. "I understood it to mean that if we were objecting to anything not in our motion that it should be in writing. That was also my understanding as to what was discussed at the status hearing. I have also discussed the matter with Mr. Mason and he is just as confused if not more."

Ashton's motion asked for Baez to be required to show why he should not be held in contempt of court.

The case heads back to court for a status hearing on March 2. WESH.com will stream the hearing live.

Jury selection for Anthony's murder trial is scheduled to begin May 9.

I don't think Liaz wants to get thrown off. I think he is inept. He says Mason is even MORE confused. If I were Mason I would walk because he's on a losing side, he is looking like an aging fool, his side kick and "colleague" is the laughing stock of the legal profession (even inside & outside of the Hispanic community... where Liaz "thinks" (dreams) he is Mr. Big Shot .. I do not think it is possible to bring Liaz up to speed. A real attorney would have said I'd love to learn but I need someone with experience to lead and guide ... after all this case involves DEATH and must be taken seriously. Liaz is a narcissist resume enhancing idiot who will end up profiteering whether Casey gets Life or Death (notice I'm not even giving her a pass on a guilty verdict) by being a commentator on some murderabilia show, some other places and can write a book or ebook. There are ways for him to make money. Liaz unless disbarred has some of the dregs of society looking to him for legal services and I'm sure found him just because of his notariety.

Is this cow ever going to trial? Geez, I was in the hospital with mr cb when Caylee's remains were found. mr cb went thru 2 surgeries, a lengthy hospital stay, a 6 week stay in rehab, 3 months of outpatient PT, was out of work for another 3 months, recovered and has been back at work for a year and a half...and this anal protrusion is still in jail? I'm mentioning this because if doctors can literally put a man back together and send him back to work in a less than a year, surely Baez can put together a defense in that time...yet here we are. Fecal brain Baez is hoping for what with these delays? Does he think the longer he drags this out the better the chance we'll all forget Caylee? Is he trying to be so annoying and obstructive because he thinks the prosecution will offer a deal just to be rid of the two of them? He's a sleaze weasel.
