I had a pretty good weekend too, I went back to my home town. Only the second time in 15 years. I had a blast with my friends from my teen years. Friday we drank, we sang, we danced and we laughed.. Saturday, I had a hangover, couldn't talk, couldn't move or walk (too old to dance like that) Couldn't get enough to drink to rehydrate but it was all so worth it..

Now it's back to reality for me too..Wait!! is this reality??

It has been my assisted living plans for the last 10 years. I'm spending a month on a cruise very soon. What ship were you on. You can't unsell me on a cruise. I LOVE it. It is my very favorite place on Earth and I've been on all the cruise lines. I'm partial to HAL. It's still traditional enough and elegant. I'm NOT fond of Carnival at all... they seem to attract a drunken party audience.


Pssss... cruises are cheaper than assisted living facilities... people are not glum and gloomy and you get a new set of happy campers every 14-21-28 days.. chances are you'll never be around death or sorrow either.... I'm going to live on a cruise ship at least 4 months of the year when I get older.

I was one of the drunks on Carnival's Destiny. :) I went with the oldies radio station out of Sarasota along with 300+ people.

My in-laws were spending almost $4000 a month on assisted living. A person could live on a cruise ship for less than that pretty easy. Plus, you get room/maid service and every ship has full medical facilities. And don''t even get me started on the wonderful food! My aunts told me to remember all of those ladies on the Titanic that passed up the fancy desserts! So, I ate like every day was my last! It was great!!!!!

Not that I saw.....or smelled. I heard about someone being offered some in Nassau, Bahamas though. We were in the port from 8:00 am till 4:30 pm, so I'm sure you could have found some if you hung around in the right places. I was with my 70 year old mother, so we weren't in the right places. A younger couple (I'd guess 30-something) that went to the beach was telling me they were offered a few different things. Pot was one of those things.

I wouldn't recommend trying to bring it on the ship, though. I guess it depends on how brave you are!!! :) I stuck to the alcohol.

Anthony Defense gets ok to test coffin flies & Caylee's Hair

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The defense and prosecution in the Casey Anthony case have hammered out an agreement for her lawyers to re-examine key pieces of scientific evidence.

Court documents filed on Tuesday show arrangements have been made to send the evidence off for further examination by forensic experts hired by Anthony’s defense team.

“Coffin flies” collected from Anthony’s car and the Suburban Drive crime scene where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found will be looked at by entomologist Dr. Tim Huntington.

Prosecutors are expected to argue that the insects, which feed on decomposing bodies, create a scientific link between the Anthony’s car and the crime scene where the remains were dumped.

In July, Huntington and a group of other defense experts gathered at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to review evidence. This re-examination will be the next step in the process.

In addition, a defense expert will look at hair evidence labeled by the FBI as samples 12 and 12.1.

WESH 2 News has confirmed that this evidence includes a single strand of Caylee Anthony’s hair.

Prosecutors are expected to argue that the hair is scientific proof that Casey Anthony drove around with her daughter’s remains in the trunk.

In order to get access to the evidence, defense lawyers had to agree to waive any claims about the chain of custody during the process. In addition, if any of the samples are damaged or destroyed during the examination or transport, the state will still be allowed to present testimony about them.

Short answer; There wasn't an actual traditional funeral for Caylee, just some insane, cockamamie extravaganza her fuckwad gramma Sindy called a "Memorial Service". Cuntomamie was in jail at the time and did not agree with the service that was going to be held, which apparently caused more friction between her and Sinner. The Memorial Service was held a few months after the body was found (Caylee was recovered in December 2008).

Just had a private investigator come to my door, because of the answers I gave during the phone call.
That was fast.

**Didn't think I really would get follow up call let alone someone come to the door.

**It was about 45 minutes ago, there was a knock at the door and there was this older man standing there. I thought he was selling something. He asked if I was me. and I said yes. He then said he was a private investigator for the defense team of Casey Anthony. I let him in because i have nothing to hide and to tell the truth I was curious what he was going to say. He asked if I knew why he was there and I said yes, because of the answers I gave during the phone call.

I don't want to lose this so I will post it bits sorry

**He asked what date I searched and was it with TES. End of August and yes it was with TES. He wanted to show me three pictures of Suburban Drive all ariels one from a farther distance, the others got closer to the actual area Caylee was found. From the first picture I pointed out where I was at. It was actually where the picture ended. The woods behind the school was not on the picture. It stopped at the gate. So he didn't have to show me any more pictues.

**He did keep asking about water in the area. He kept asking if I saw water on Suburban Drive. Now my answer is no to did I see water ON Suburban Drive the road. No, standing water to run a car through. He kept asking a few ways the same question. Finally I had to say. This is what I saw and can say is the truth to what I saw. No water on the actual road. I could NOT see into the woods and tell if there was water or not. I can't even say I looked over there more than to notice there were woods there. We were driving to our next search location.

**I did tell him that I am familar with the place now after the fact. That just a few feet in from the treeline the place becomes like a bowl and it would hold water. It was just after Fay.

When he was leaving, I said that I never even expected a call to begin with. With kind of a smirk he said well they only gave us 32 names and yours was not on it. You were on Suburban Drive, they were supposed to give us the names of ANYONE on Suburban. We found 150 more people. Acting like TES is/was up to something. Well, I didn't have anything help him. Just because there was not water on the road does not do them any good. The road is not a bowl like the area where Caylee was found.

**I told him that we were not the first team to be in that area. The area had already been searched prior to us getting there.

I have no idea if our team leader wrote we were there or not. I didn't see any papers he filled out at all, one way or the other. The only paper I ever filled out to my recollection was the volunteer form at the staging area. I certainly never filled out any report on where we searched and what was found. I know that for sure.

**I certainly hope the point got across. I tried to make sure he knew what I was saying.
I knew exactly what he was trying to get me to say. After a few ways he tried to ask the same thing different ways I said. This is what I will say is the truth from what I saw. NO water on the Road. didn't see into the woods and not even sure I looked there other than to notice there were woods. CAN NOT tell you there was NO water in the woods.

I know there was water in there, I just could not say and be truthfull that I got out of the car walked to and then into the woods and stepped into or saw water. Like I said the area is like a bowl just a few feet from the treeline and forms a bowl that would most certainly hold water.

Thanks. Some people were known outside the review and have appeared in the prosecution discovery.

As such, they would have been given to the defense by the prosecution in accordance with Florida

discovery rules. Also, the 32 searchers and all the groups that were with the 32 were released long

ago. As such, it’s likely the person contacted was on one of those forms.



Without specific names there is little I can do. If someone lets me know their identity and it can be

established that a violation occurred with the defense, than action will be taken. However, not

knowing which person was contacted and how they came to be contacted makes it rather impossible

to evaluate the situation without more.



We know it’s frustrating but no identities have been made public to my knowledge. The defense

appears desperate and are attempting to show that the area wasn’t underwater. I believe that

the abundant witnesses who know otherwise are letting that be known. The prosecution is aware

of the defense’s position.



Please remember though that Judge Perry was clearly heading in the direction of opening up the

full files to the defense. In an effort to redirect that and to avoid the probability of a point of appeal

or request for a new trial, we work towards the settlement which is in place. It’s not perfect, but it

does seem to provide the best protection for public confidentiality to the searchers and halt the

defense from appealing as to this point.


As always, thank you and all the others for their compassion and support. This tragedy has

touched so many and hopefully the truth will prevail.

New developments in Anthony case

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Laura Buchanan, the Texas Equusearch volunteer who claims to have searched the exact area of Suburban Drive where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found three months later, asked that her deposition be canceled on Wednesday. Buchanan was scheduled to answer questions under oath via the Internet.

Last month, discovery documents revealed that another Equusearch volunteer told investigators Buchanan may have falsified her search documents.

In another big development, Casey Anthony’s defense team will get to do their own examination of some of the state's evidence against their client. Bug expert Timothy Huntington will get to look at the coffin flies which prosecutors say were found in the trunk of Casey's car, along with larvae from a trash bag and paper towels also found in the truck of the car.

Another defense expert will get to examine a hair found in the trunk of Casey's car which prosecutors say came from a dead body.

Prosecutors have scheduled depositions with Roy Kronk and Brandon Sparks. Sparks told Casey's defense team that Kronk told him, weeks before finding Caylee, to watch the news, because he'd seen her skull and knew where the missing two year old was.

We got there just as school was getting out. So street was very busy. I just stood there and cried. To see how close Caylee was to home but how close she was to the street. It was like all Casey did was pull her car over and open the trunk and take a couple steps and toss her. It really was that close to the street. Went by the evil house. I don't think the A's live there anymore. The yard was cut but the flag is the same as it's been since the beginning and the decoration on the door. It looked like the bedroom windows had plastic containers in front of them. All the neighbors had Halloween stuff out. I really think they might have saved the house but they aren't living there. The house is very little and the street is very narrow. I don't think two cars can pass each other at the same time.
