    Amanda Scheidt Another Mom Runs From Cops, Leaves Toddler Behind

    A local mom is out of jail after she is stopped for a traffic violation and and tries to run away-leaving her toddler behind.

    Delhi police say the incident began as a simple traffic stop, when suddenly the woman behind the wheel pulled over, jumped out of the car, and took off running leaving her one year old son in the car.

    30-year-old Amanda Scheidt now faces some serious charges including child endangering. She was stopped on Neeb Road in Delhi on Monday. Police say the Addyston mom also had drug paraphernalia in the car, which may explain why she tried to run.

    Scheidt was in court today. Her attorney denies the claim that she ran from police and says the paraphernalia in her car did not belong to Scheidt.
