Authorities claim King has admitted to abusing his 5-month-old child on at least one occasion before the end of March, according to an affidavit for a search warrant filed in the court a week ago.
Investigators responded to Winchester Medical Center in late March for a report of an infant who appeared to have 11 fractures at different stages of healing, the affidavit stated.
The child was then taken University of Virginia hospital for further treatment and later put into foster care, according to the affidavit.
King told an investigator with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office that he became agitated with the child at one point and slammed its leg on a changing table, the affidavit states.
