INDY - A mother is facing serious charges after leaving her two young children in a car unattended while she partied at a bar on the city’s west side.


Witnesses told police they saw a woman park her car in a parking lot just east of Fandango’s and go into the bar. A short time later they noticed something moving in the car and went over to investigate. That’s when they found two boys, ages 4 and 7 sitting in the car.


The witness walked over to tell police at a nearby traffic stop. Police said one of the boys told them their mother, Danielle Green left them unattended all the time at stores and bars.

Police found Green in an alley behind a known crack house in the 900 block of North Moreland Avenue.

I can't decide if she was looking to make a buck or spend a buck in the alley.
A shame these babies probably think her behavior is how a mother is supposed to be.

Simply amazes me that people can come up with the money for drinking/drugging it up but can't come up with some cash for a sitter. Sometimes it costs me more for a babysitter than what I spend when I am out, seems people like me are slowly becoming the exception to the rule.

Amy, in that area, she was probably looking to do both. Such a shame for the little ones involved, apparently from what they said, this is the norm in their lives.

I am a dumb dumb. I read the headline and thought she had been leaving her kids in the car while she worked her shift as a bartender. Just as bad, but I could see it in my head, her getting all bitchy with the cops "you gotta better idea of what to do with em' while I gotta work? babysitters cost money, and if I had money I wouldn't have to be at this job!" And I was a least getting a snortle at her moxie (in my head). This is just very very sad....

I don't and will never understand how these people can go through life bringing innocent lives to suffer from their neglect. No thinking beyond me, me, me, me. Ugggg
