Police are searching for Cedric Martin, 30, who is believed to have a 2-year-old Xavier Deshun Martin with him. Xavier is described as a black male with long black braided hair and brown eyes. He’s 3 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 34 pounds, police said.
Cedric Martin is wanted in connection with kidnapping, rape and aggravated assault charges, and is considered to be armed and dangerous police said. Martin is accused of attacking a woman last Thursday in Lamar County, the sheriff said.
Cedric Martin is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. He’s believed to be driving a white Ford 2002 four-door Focus with Scott County tag SCI 431, and was last seen in the Madison area, police said.
Anyone with information about Cedric Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call the Mississippi Highway Patrol at 601-987-1353 or 601-987-1354, the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office at 601-270-9536 or local law enforcement.
