A Lansdale woman has been sentenced to prison for having indecent contact with a 4-year-old girl.

Erica Lyn Dillon, 31, formerly of the 800 block of Walnut Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Thursday to 11½ months already served to 23 months in prison on charges of indecent assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with a 2002 incident involving a 4-year-old girl.

Dillon pleaded guilty to the charges on Feb. 26.

Essentially, Dillon admitted to touching the little girl in an indecent manner while the girl was in her company at an Abington residence.

Judge Steven T. O’Neill also sentenced Dillon to seven years’ of probation following her release and ordered her to have no contact with the victim.

The judge further ordered that Dillon, a 1998 North Penn High School graduate who participated in Special Olympics in high school, be placed under sex offender and mental health supervision by probation officials during her probationary period.

Dillon also must report her address to state police for 10 years after she’s released from prison in order to comply with Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law.

“She is a very low functioning woman, intellectually. But she understands she did wrong and accepted responsibility for her actions,” said defense lawyer John Kravitz.

Despite the time-served sentence, Dillon remains in prison while awaiting trial on additional charges she had sex with a teenage boy while free on bail awaiting sentencing in the case involving the 4-year-old girl.

Assistant District Attorney Jordan Friter vowed to seek additional prison time, over and above what Dillon received on Thursday, if Dillon is convicted of the pending charges.

“She has multiple offenses of the same nature. She’s somebody who the community needs to be protected from and the goal is to fashion a punishment that will protect the community,” Friter said.

The most recent charges were filed against Dillon after the boy’s mother notified police on April 15 that she had become aware that Dillon had sexually assaulted the 14-year-old boy on April 5 while the boy was visiting Dillon’s live-in boyfriend, Antonio Morano.

The boy told investigators that when he visited the Dillon home Morano began talking about sex and asked the boy if he liked to watch porn, according to the criminal complaint filed by Lansdale Police Officer Michael Trail.

“Morano then took (the boy) to a computer in a back room of the apartment and began surfing the Internet and showing (the boy) pornographic pictures and videos,” Trail alleged in the arrest affidavit.

About 30 minutes later, Dillon entered the room and asked the boy to go to a bedroom with her, police alleged. Once inside the bedroom, Dillon allegedly had sexual contact with the boy.

Morano told police that he walked into the bedroom and saw Dillon having sex with the boy. Although he was angry with the boy for having sex with Dillon, Morano told police he did not stop them “but rather he stood in the doorway and watched,” Trail alleged.

I may have missed it somewhere but has the boyfriend been arrested too? Reading the accusations made against her by the 14 year old in the new update it sounds like the boyfriend orchestrated the whole thing. He showed talked about sex, showed the boy porn and then from the sounds of it pretended to be mad then watched them having sex. To me it seems this guy could be taking advantage of a seriously slow person. Let's be real, she isn't a looker and probably hasn't had many boyfriends so if he were to say something like "If you love me you do this.." add in possibly being mentally challenged she might have thought what she was doing was okay at first. She learned 4 was bad, then went to a 14 year old. Next time she might keep it legal and go with 24. Either way, I can't help but think he was behind it all and shares a lot of the blame. Not excusing her behavior mind ya, just feel there's more to it.
