NORRISTOWN – A Lansdale woman allegedly had sex with a teenage boy while free on bail awaiting sentencing for a separate crime of having indecent contact with a 4-year-old girl.
Erica Lyn Dillon, 31, of Walnut Street, was arraigned before District Court Judge Paul Leo on charges of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of a minor and disorderly conduct in connection with an April 5 incident during which she allegedly had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy at her Lansdale residence.
Dillon, a 1998 North Penn High School graduate who participated in Special Olympics in high school, remains at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 cash bail while awaiting her preliminary hearing on the new charges. If she’s convicted of all the charges at trial, Dillon faces a possible maximum sentence of 8 ˝ to 17 years in prison.
At the time of the alleged sexual encounter with the boy, Dillon was free on $50,000 unsecured bail awaiting sentencing after she pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to charges of indecent assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with a 2002 incident involving a 4-year-old girl. In that case, Dillon admitted to touching the little girl in an indecent manner while the girl was in her company at an Abington residence.

“We often see situations where you have sex offenders who have been sentenced, they’ve been punished. They’ve done their time. They’re released and then again they reoffend. We see that more regularly,” Ferman said on Tuesday.
“But I would say it’s quite unusual for us to see a case where the sex offender, who only a few weeks after the conviction, is now at it again,” Ferman said.
