Jose Rosales Lopez arrested in teens rape

SOUTH HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities released sketches of two men who kidnapped and raped a 17-year-old girl, not far from South Houston High School a week ago.
The girl told investigators the men grabbed her from behind as she walked from school. The vicitm described her attackers as two Hispanic males about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall. They were riding in a late model Toyota Camry and the driver had a missing front tooth.
She said one man held her down in the back of the vehicle, while the other raped her.

SOUTH HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- A Crime Stoppers tip led police to a suspect in the sexual assault of a 17-year-old in South Houston.
The tip came in Friday that the suspect was living in a trailer park in the 600 block of South Almeda Genoa in South Houston. Police went to that location and arrested Jose Rosales Lopez, 35, who they say fit the description of a composite sketch released earlier this week.
Lopez was put in a lineup and was positively identified by the victim as her attacker.
The suspect is now charged with sexual assault and is being held at Harris County Jail on $35,000 bond.

That girl did an awesome job with the sketch artist. I am not sure I could have had the composure to remember so well under the circumstances. Kudos too for the artist's ability to help the victim picture it.
