MADISON COUNTY, Ohio—Authorities pull a female body out of a lake in Madison County Tuesday afternoon, and the sheriff’s office is calling it a suspicious death.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS from the Madison County sheriff’s office.
Authorities were called to Madison Lake, part of Madison Lake State Park, at about 1:30 p.m.
The lake is south of state Route 665 or London-Lockbourne Road.
A body was pulled from the lake at about 2 p.m.
The Madison County sheriff’s office told NBC 4 the body appeared to be a white female.
The office could not elaborate currently on the female’s age or identification or a cause of death.
The office did tell NBC 4 the death was being considered suspicious.
Authorities remained on the scene to investigate.
Additional information, including how the body was found, was not available immediately.
