Workers at the Carlsberg brewery in Denmark apparently don’t know when they have a good thing.
Apparently it used to be that coolers full of beer were located throughout the brewery and workers could just crack them open whenever they wanted.
Now they can only drink during their lunch break.
Here also is an interesting quote from a company spokesman from a story in The Copenhagen Post. Seems like you can still wet your whistle in a pinch.
“‘We did remove the extra beers from all refrigerators around the work site that the employees were allotted for the day. But we have also set up taps from which staff can drink freely, and so the employees can certainly manage to drink more than one beer during their lunchtime breaks.”
It’s hard for U.S. workers to sympathize too much since many work places now force employees to pass the hat for coffee and in some case even spring water.
If that is your dream job, then this video might also make you laugh.
