A drug bust leaves four in jail and a child in state custody
FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - A pot bust puts four people behind bars...and a ten week old baby is now in the custody of the state.

It happened at 411 Cherry Hill Homes Street at an apartment complex in Florence. Florence police tell me they think the suspects were all smoking marijuana next to the ten week old child who was also born 2 months premature.

The child's mother Krystal Bohannon, Zachary Holder, Wilimina Holt, and Terry Richardson were all charged with chemical endangerment of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Early Friday morning Florence police responded to Cherry Hill Homes Street on a tip someone was trespassing at an apartment complex. Officers say when they knocked on the door of one of the units they could smell a strong odor of marijuana.

Richardson was also charged with criminal trespassing.

Florence police say the child has been turned over to DHR
