Prosecutors have charged a Federal Way man accused of trying to have sex with young girls by connecting with their father in a chat rooms.
Tilden L. Lester, 50, has been charged with attempted rape of a child in the second degree and possession of child porn.
An undercover detective with Seattle police said he first met Lester last month in an online chat room "titled something to the effect of 'incest is natural,'" according to the statement of probable cause. The detective said he was posing as a father of two girls, ages 13 and 11.
Lester, using the screen name "DrPeddelDfile," told the detective he had sex with a 13-year-old girl and continued to do so until she turned 20.
Lester said in California and Oregon, he met mothers with daughters and had sex with the daughters, the detective wrote. He added "he is also into teaching girls to have sex with K9's (Dogs)," and have done so in California and Oregon, the statement said.
Lester then sent via instant message more than 100 child porn images to the detective. The images depicted "children between 3 and 12" performing sexual acts, according to the document.
The man told the detective he'd be willing to share his child porn collection, which he had accumulated for the past 15 years, if the detective agrees to let him "party" with his daughters, the statement said. The two agreed to meet at Denny's Restaurant in Federal Way.
At the restaurant, Lester downloaded "approximately 20 gigabytes of mostly child pornography" to the detective's hard drive, the statement said. "Vast majorities were pictures and videos of children being sexually victimized," the detective wrote.
In the days after the meeting, Lester contacted the detective and said he'd like to arrange a time to '"play with my 13- and 11-year-old girls," the detective said. Lester made several inquiries, including their performance of certain sexual acts, and their preference for sexual positions, the document said. He added "he would love to train them to have sex with dogs," the detective wrote.
The two arranged a meeting at the Starbucks Coffee Store in Tukwila on April 1. When Lester arrived, he was arrested without incident.
When questioned by detectives, Lester provided a taped statement "detailing that it was his intent to have sex with what he believed to be the affiants' 13 and 11 year old daughters," the document said.
Lester was booked into the King County Jail where he is being held on $150,000 bail.
