Geoffrey Mendenall was on the phone with 911 because the baby was choking, and was being led thru the process by the operator. That was the 911 call made by him,
and all the evidence points towards this being an accident while performing the heimlich or a possibility of having dropped the baby during and he had no knowledge of what had happened when they took her to the hospital unresponsive.
Yes, he has issues and is stressed, but those had no holding on the love he felt for that baby. his life revolved around her. Take all your negativity and point it elsewhere. The problem here is that his paranoia towards society caused him to auto matically think that someone had to be responsible and so he said and i quote. " She did not do anything I did, take me." THAT is why he is having to wait without bond until a lawyer is appointed. My niece is dead. Devastated. But he is too.
bout the comments on the internet stating he looks like a killer, and his eyes look like he does crack. He did no hardcore drugs. FYI. I would like to see your child die , you get charged with it, be man handled by the police and not have red eyes from guess what... being emotional and scared and devastated and crying.
Seriously? so simple minded people automatically say drugs cause his eyes are red and he has long hair and a beard? That is an insult to YOUR intelligence.
We involved in the situation only know what I just stated. We cannot assume the mother was involved because Geoffrey cannot give statements until he has a lawyer, and if you know much about this all conversations are recorded. The fact is the 911 tape exists. We were also called about it afterwards.
