    Christopher Luttrell asked 9 yr. old boy sex for cigarettes

    CARTHAGE – Police said a 33-year-old man asked a 9-year-old boy to engage in sexual activity for cigarettes.

    Christopher Luttrell, of Carthage, was arrested for the offense at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 6800 block of Vine Street.

    According to a police report, Luttrell asked the boy for oral sex.

    Luttrell also had an open can of beer that he admitted drinking, police said.

    He was charged with sexual importuning and possession of an open container in a public place.

    Luttrell is scheduled for arraignment on Monday in Hamilton County Court.
