TellMeYourStory I understand your outrage and anger probably more than most do in regards to the Native American thing. (Seeing as I too am a half breed Lenape to be exact) and I live in a country rife with ignorance about all Native American Peoples.

So know you are not alone. But I just wanted to say to you this forum is a great place to let go of a lot of rage. There are many folk here who in different ways have been victims either of crime, or abuse, or of general ignorance for one reason or another. We all share a common bond wanting to see true justice and wanting a place to rant about the scum of the earth and celebrate the innocents lives affected.

I am the first to defend my culture and my people on both sides Scottish and Lenape. But I have friends here and you will too that for them you are what you are and they value you on all levels.

I hope you enjoy your time here on DD and I look forward to hearing more about you.

Okay, TMYS I can tell you're pissed, but I'm not sure what the arrogant white man has to do with you having to pay for a siggy (by the way, you do get quite a bit more for that 20 than just a siggy!).
Being half native myself and living in Canada (where racism between Native and Caucasian people is insanely high), I can see your point of view. However, I wonder what what done to your ancestors personally affects YOU so much that you're so angry about it?
I have had this argument before. No full Native person I've spoken to has ever admitted that they actually want to live off the land anymore. Most don't even really know all that much about their own heritage, except the idealized spiritual parts.

Well. i was joking about the smilies. It is my thing to sarcastically complain about them. Especially the lollipop one. Then people (especially Harley) bedevil me with them. I certainly didn't expect to come back in this thread and find someone freaking about a $20 bold that you didn't have to pay,(honestly a sig is the least affective way to get your point across.)
