    Chyna Harvey(4) Didnt Want To Be Stuck In The House All Day

    PHOENIX --
    Police say a 4-year-old girl was found by herself in the area of 41st Street and Baseline Road at about 7:30 Monday morning.

    The little girl told officers her name and that she's from Mesa. She was found wandering westbound along Baseline Road in Phoenix.

    According to Detective James Holmes, Chyna Harvey's mother dropped her off at the baby sitter's house.

    Holmes said the mother walked Chyna up to the door and knocked.

    "The baby sitter's 5-year-old opened the door and the child did go inside," Holmes explained. "Unfortunately, they weren't expected until about 7:20, so the child-care provider was actually still asleep.

    "Evidently, Chyna decided she did not want to stay, and she left the home," Holmes continued.

    That house is about 1/4 mile from where she was found.

    Some good Samaritans picked up Shyna and called the police. The girl appeared to be unhurt and in good spirits. She was reunited with her family a short time later.

    why didnt the mom go in with the girl? then she couldve seen the sitter was still asleep...which shouldnt have been a problem since she was early
    where's the Bold Fairy when you need him? I just KNOW you all are pointing & laughing at me in the "point & laugh" thread that I can no longer see!! :(

    Who leaves their 4 y/o on a DOOR STEP, KNOCKS, and GOES AWAY BEFORE making sure they were ok and speaking with the babysitter? WTF???

    Stupid, stupid. So this mom not only dropped her off earlier than expected but didn't even bother to let the sitter know that she was there? I bet you she is blaming the sitter, and not her dumbass.

    Whisper, that brought chills down my spine. People are just so irresponsible. I wonder if they would leave their atm's, or wallets for someone to find? Why do that with your kid?

    After all that has happened to many childrens, and still people continue to be careless with their kids. This woman should make sure from this point forth, to make sure her child is safe inside the house and not left on the porch as the day's newspaper
