A singer in the pop group 'Girlicious' has been arrested on a drug charge after police say they found more than a dozen bags of cocaine in her Gucci purse.
Natalie Mejia, 21, of Diamond Bar, was arrested in Glendale Tuesday night after a car she was riding in was stopped for speeding, Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

She was booked at 11:16 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale, according to police and published reports.

The driver, Peter Asencio, 28, of Burbank, was arrested on the same charge, police said.
Mejia was ordered to appear in court April 15.
